Finally, the Moorpark Civil War event photographs are up and as always a popular and fun experience. Though a large venue it is becoming crowded and this is just the reenactors. It was reported that there were 648 registered combatants on the field for the weekend. This does not include the numerous civilian reenactors who also participated. A word of "Thanks" go to the Moorpark Rotary Club and Richmond Howitzers. Mark your calendars for this event returns on November 7th and 8th of 2009.

The reenactment season comes to a close as we go into the holiday season. Economy is tough but there is nothing more precious than family and friends. Let us all slow down a bit and think about the things that really matter to us.
